Adani Joins PPG Annual Conference Sponsors
Indian multinational powerhouse, Adani Group, with interests in resources, logistics, energy and agribusiness, is the gold sponsor for the annual Project Professionals Group conference in Mumbai from 3-5 of February, 2016.
General Manager and founder of the specialist project cargo network, Kevin Stephens, said PPG’s member in India Express Global Logistics had played a key role in negotiating the sponsorship.
“On behalf of PPG members I would like to thank Express Global Logistics for their efforts in negotiating a Gold Sponsorship package from Adani Group for our annual conference in February 2016,” Stephens said.
Stephens said Adani will deliver a guest speaker presentation at the conference and members will have the opportunity to network with Adani representatives.
Adani owns and operates a number of ports and terminals throughout India including Mundra Port, which is the largest port in India and has special economic zone status.
Adani Group is involved in a number of large scale projects around the world including the $AUD16 billion Carmichael coal mine in central Queensland which is Australia’s largest proposed coal mine.
The Trident Nariman Point Hotel in Mumbai is the conference venue and accommodation provider.
Meanwhile, registrations for the PPG Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management course during Breakbulk Americas in Houston will close on September 28.
